Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 11 am–9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (815) 254-2500. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is cemenospizza.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Customers rate it 4.4 out of 5 on Google across 2,592 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded pizza restaurants in Joliet.

A friend of mine had been telling me to come here for over a year and I finally made it there. The pizza was absolutely delicious. That’s the only thing we ordered. We got a large thin crust and there was plenty of pizza to go around. My fiancé and I can’t wait to come back.

My wife and I split a meatball sandwich it was fantastic! We also had thier anti pasto salad. The salad was phenomenal. Large pieces of pepperoni lots of cheese great Italian dressing. Crisp croutons and peppers. We thoroughly enjoyed it all.

I ordered a pizza in the restaurant. It was served to me burned. Both the top of the pizza and the bottom was basically inedible. The waitress talked to the manager who agreed to make a new Pizza. Unfortunately, I was starving to death. I had not eaten all day and it was 5 PM. So I scraped off the top of the pizza and ate what I could of that. Since everyone else was done eating, when I got my replacement pizza, I took it home to finish. When I got home, I discovered that the second pizza they gave me was just as burned as the first one. Maybe even worse. Also, they stuck it in a small pizza box instead of a medium pizza box so it was curled over. Needless to say, I am throwing out my pizza. I will also throw Cenemos off my list of restaurants I want to frequent.

Cemeno’s Pizza absolutely delivers when it comes to high-quality pizza at a price that feels more than fair for what you’re getting. In an area where good pizza can sometimes come with a steep price tag, Cemeno’s strikes a perfect balance between quality and value. The sauce stood out right away—it had a pleasant sweetness that added depth without overpowering the rest of the flavors. It complemented the toppings really well instead of stealing the spotlight. Speaking of toppings, they were generous and clearly high-quality. The cheese in particular was plentiful, melted perfectly, and had that rich, satisfying taste you hope for in a great pizza. But the real highlight here is the crust. It was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside with just the right texture throughout. The edges had an amazing crunch that made every bite enjoyable, even down to the last piece. Overall, Cemeno’s Pizza is an easy recommendation. If you’re in the Joliet area and looking for a spot that offers top-tier pizza without overcharging, this place should definitely be on your list.

This was a new place for me. Don't hesitate. Please pass go and collect your pizza!!! You can't go wrong with the antipasto salad, garlic bread or ranch fries, either. We got half sizes and it's more than enough for 2 people to share. Homemade ranch is delicious! Service was great and atmosphere relaxing. I'd drive 3 hours again to come back...Just forgive my photos. We were hungry and forgot to take photos sooner. Did not at all disappoint!
